Calgary Flames Out! Detroit Red Wings Move On

On Friday, April 20, the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Calgary Flames by a score of 5 - 1 taking the lead in the series 3-2.

Usually I don’t put much sports on here, but I consider putting anything up that is entertainment and in my opinion this is hilarious. Just putting the score up would have been funny enough for me, but this video of Jamie McLennan slashing Johan Franzen in the mid-section is classic.

First off, you are a second string goalie, you don’t get many chances to shine in goal. Second you were only put in the net because there was just a few remaining minutes in a game that you couldn’t win and the coach didn’t want Kiprusoff getting injured. So just cause you are upset you are losing and a shitty goalie you start slashing anyone in front of your goal, eventually drawing a penalty… then, with your massive goalie stick, slash the guy who scored the last goal.

Now you have a five game suspension…. haha which doesn’t matter because Detroit won lastnight. It’s over for you guys! Maybe you can beat your kids with your
stick to take out your aggression.
My advice however would be to
practice stopping some goals so
you can earn a real check. Instead of sitting on the bench all season!
