Knut The Bear Receives Death Threats!

Security has been tightened at the Berlin Zoo on Thursday after a threat to kill its hugely popular polar bear cub, Knut.

“Knut is dead! Thursday noon,” read a note sent to the zoo on Wednesday afternoon after the fluffy white animal finished the second of his two daily public appearances. Police said they were not looking for anyone specific in connection with the threat, which they said was written in a confused manner, apparently on a computer. “If the threat was serious, then we would take action,” a police spokesman said.

Who in their right mind would want to kill Knut. He is the cutest bear I’ve ever seen in my entire life and I used to live in the forest with bears, so I’ve seen a lot!

Seriously though, I wish I could find out who would send in a death threat (especially under recent circumstances) to kill a little polar bear who was already abandoned by it’s parents. This person must just be really jealous of Knuts dashing good looks. Either that or really upset that Sanjaya got voted off American Idol finally.

And as for the police saying they won’t take
action until it’s serious, I think we can all
agree we need to start taking action on
situations BEFORE they actually happen!
(I’m in no way comparing the recent events
at V.T. with this but merely making a point).
