George W. Bush Is a Terrorist: We Know it, O’Donnell Speaks It
May 29th, 2007
Yes this is an entertainment blog, usually dealing with the daily escapades of random celebrities, crotch shots and nip slips. Today however, after posting of Rosie O’Donnell’s choice to leave ‘The View’ early, it made me wonder.
Most reported Rosie’s decision to leave to be because of her recent feuding with co-host Elizabeth Hasselback.
Even myself “reporting” the very same angle of the story and posting the same YouTube clip of the May 23 cat fight example. However one has to wonder the real reason for Rosie wanting to leave. It is no secret that journalists have reported Rosie as saying that U.S. troops are terrorists.
Now, I read a lot of celebrity gossip and to be honest, I could care less what’s true or not, I’m no journalist (as you can tell by my horrible grammar). All I’m concerned about is a quick laugh, with a tiny bit of information to the gossip readers who are obsessed with celebrities lives. Personally, I could care less about celebrities’ lives and don’t really understand the ridiculous amount of interest peoples have for them. How could anyone want to be a celebrity with the paparazzi following them around constantly? Ya, ya, you can say I just fuel the paparazzi frenzy by using their photos, but I don’t pay for them so really I’m not helping them at all. In all actually I’m exploiting what the paparazzi are doing and help the celebrity with attention - good or bad.
Anyways continuing on with Rosie’s situation: First thing to clear up, did Rosie actually call the U.S. troops terrorist? Here is the situation straight from the transcripts for The View on May 17th:
O’DONNELL: 655,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. Who are the terrorists?
HASSELBECK: Who are the terrorists?
O’DONNELL: 655,000 Iraqis — I’m saying you have to look, we invaded –
HASSELBECK: Wait, who are you calling terrorists now? Americans?
O’DONNELL: I’m saying if you were in Iraq, and the other country, the United States, the richest in the world, invaded your country and killed 655,000 of your citizens, what would you call us?
HASSELBECK: Are we killing their citizens or are their people also killing their citizens?
NO! Rosie did not say that U.S. troops were terrorists. Did she imply, I think it’s say to say, yes. Sure get mad, but what would you call them if you were an Iraq citizen. Either way, Elizabeth agrees with Rosie on the last line anyways. She says: “Are we killing their citizens or are their people ALSO killing their citizens. So really there is no discrepancy on that fact that U.S. troops ARE killing innocent citizens.
We all know this is not the troops’ fault for this label they have incurred, rather the American government. Let’s do a little test. Open Google and type “define:terrorism” in the search box. The first definition is straight from the US Department of Defense, and states: “the unlawful use of — or threatened use of — force or violence against individuals or property to coerce or intimidate governments or societies, often to achieve political, religious, or ideological objectives.” (Which we all know is all about OIL)
So in my ridiculous rant, the moral is… any country that invades another country and uses violence to achieve objectives is considered a terrorist; and that is straight from the U.S. government. Did the U.S. use force to invade another country yes. Why? Because two planes were flown into the twin towers by terrorists led by Osama Bin Laden? Osama Bin Who… I seem to recall that name but that was many years ago and we seem to have completely forgotten about him.
I could go and on so I won’t. I could talk about the fact that it was the U.S. government that allowed the two towers to fall but then that would be too hard to believe for most so I won’t. You can try and open your mind to the possibilities of that day and watch this documentary on what happened on 9/11. Fact, fiction… doesn’t really matter what you believe as long as you allow yourself to believe what you believe and not what CNN and George W. Bush tell you is the truth. We all know that George W. Bush is an idiot; you aren’t going to believe an idiot are you?
Normally I’m a lot harsher and this is the
first post I have done like this… P.S. I hope
Hasselho grows up and stops acting like
she’s from Texas, I know she obviously
supports Bush but she needs to grow up.
The only reason she supports bush is
probably because she has the biggest muff in the world!
GO BUSH!
And yes… I know I ran out of paper… stupid note pad!
