Tomorrow is a big day for rap singer Foxy Brown. She will be released from jail where she has been for the last 8 months due to violating her probation. She was on probation in the first place for for attacking two manicurists at a nail salon and broke the terms of release after getting into a bitch fight with her neighbor in which the feisty foxy hit with her Blackberry. Ouch! Girl should be locked up for life so as to prevent any other outbursts.

Miss Brown was hoping to get a big crowd of fans awaiting her in the parking lot of Rikers, where she will be set free, but the Department of Corrections is disputing any sort of welcoming party and will be monitoring the “event” or lack thereof, preventing any sort of press or fanatical behaviors.

Foxy Brown has been busy working on her newest album Brooklyn’s Don Diva and plans to release in on May 13th. She is also starting a VH1 reality series which will air in the near future.

Sol Guy, a hip-hop producer, artist manager, and owner of his own indie label for Arista Records in New York is using his life and fame to reach out to countries in dire need of cultural help. He is doing this by using celebrities to draw awareness and hype, getting them to travel to different countries, and involving them with the citizens. Sol states, “We live in a society that for whatever reason, has put celebrities at the top of the pyramid.” Understanding this phenomenon he plans to “bridge entertainment and activism” by using these high profile people.

Guy, based out of Vancouver, has co-created with Josh Thome an eight part television series called 4real that will document these stars on their adventures tackling issues such as poverty, enviornment, drugs and violence, health, rights, and more. Celebrity guests for season 1 are Cameron Diaz, Mos Def, Joaquin Phoenix, Eva Mendes, Casey Affleck, K’NAAN, M.I.A. and Flea from The Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Flea speaks out on his experience to Haiti expressing, “What was most interesting to me was that they were doing pieces on these cultures that were positive. Haiti is really going through a hard time but the show was not about ‘Hey look at all these poor people, look at the devastation, look at the malnutrition and problems they have.’ That is all anyone ever hears. This is about the boldness of the human spirit when faced with seemingly insurmountable odds. It’s about how beautiful people can be in these situations. It was one of the most touching experiences of my entire life.”

After Cameron ventured to Peru to participate in a winter solstice ceremony, she has been enlightened about how to use her power to help others. She stated, “Everywhere that I’ve been, from Africa to Nepal to Paris, Frace to Iceland and Peru, the thing that I find is that we’re all the same. We’re all human beings, we all want the same things, we want to be loved, we want to be safe. Everybody is trying to achieve the same thing in their lifetime. That’s a passion of mine, to help people understand how we coexist on this planet.”

Madonna’s first performance for her newest album Hard Candy will be aired on the internet!

On April 30th Madonna will be playing a show at New York’s Roseland Ballroom, and the show will be broadcast live to US viewers on msn.com. The concert will also be rebroadcast on May 15th for everyone else to see.

Tickets to the show will not be pre sold. In fact, fans will have to line up outside the venue and get in on a first come first serve basis. Peeps better start lining up now!

The show however is linked to the telecommunications company Verizon, which will be giving away tickets to lucky fans.

Hard Candy which already has a number 1 hit called 4 minutes featuring Justin Timberlake, will be released the day before the show on April 29.

Full House child star Jodie Sweetin and her hubby, set designer Cody Herpin, welcome a new baby girl, Zoie,(not sure why they had to go and spell it like that) into their lives. Jodie, aka Stephanie Tanner delivered her 8 lbs. 7 oz. baby via C-section on Saturday afternoon.

“Jodie says that she and her husband and family are thrilled and in love with baby Zoie,” said a representative for Sweetin.

The couple married last year after having known each other only 2 weeks. I guess baby Zoie prolly had something to do with this. How Rude!!!
